System Overview

RD8200 Locator (Receiver): Ergonomic, lightweight wand featuring a custom transflective monochrome LCD that uses ambient daylight to enhance visibility in bright sun. It integrates a multi-antenna array to provide five distinct orientation modes.
Tx-10 Transmitter: Radiodetection’s highest-capacity 10-Watt signal generator. It forces targeted, trackable signals down high-impedance, deep, or dry-ground lines by outputting up to 90V.

TruDepth™ Orientation Lock: Automatically cuts depth and current readouts from the display if the wand is tilted more than 7.5° off-axis, preventing false measurements.
Current Direction (CD) Tracing: Uses a specialized low-frequency paired signal from the Tx-10 to project directional arrows on the locator screen. This confirms you are tracking your exact target utility line out of a cluster of parallel pipes.
Power Filters™ Network Isolation: When a direct connection isn't possible, this allows you to exploit harmonic properties of electrical networks to establish if a signal originates from a single source or multiple bleeding lines.
Dynamic Overload Protection: Automatically filters out ambient electrical noise and overhead harmonic interference, allowing clean operations inside high-voltage substations.
Fault-Finding Mode: By pairing the system with an accessory A-Frame, the Tx-10 applies an 8kHz/CD pulse to locate line insulation sheath damage down to within 4 inches (10 cm).
Dual Bluetooth & iLOC™: Long-range wireless connectivity (up to 450 meters) allows you to remotely adjust the Tx-10 transmitter's frequencies and output power directly from the locator wand without walking back to the transmitter box.
